Runscanner FAQ

Warning:

RunScanner requires advanced knowledge about Windows.
If you delete an item,
without knowing what it is,
it can lead to major Windows problems.
If you are not sure what to delete,
post your Run file to a helper forum.

Instructions for Use

Download the RunScanner v.1.6.3.0 to your Desktop.
Unzip it to its own folder C:\Program Files\Runscanner
Double-Click onto the RunScanner.exe to run it.
Have a look to the picture below.

Hit "Expert Mode" > OK
See the picture below.

Please use Autorun Hijack Items (Default Settings) (1).
Click onto the button "Start Scan" (2).
It looks similar to this picture below.

Wait until the scan is done, that will last some minutes.
See the picture below.

When the scan is done, click onto the Tab "Save .run file" (1)
> save it to your runscanner folder.
Click onto the Tab "Save .log file" (2)
> save it to your runscanner folder.
Have a look to the picture below.

Upload BOTH logs to your thread.
You can use a zip tool to get the run file uploaded.

Note:
Do NOT try to work with the RunScanner on your own,
without advanced knowledge about Windows.
This could lead to the total lost of your system.
