Hello,

I have downloaded Malwarebyte's, I have spy bot, spy ware doctor, and i have avg (have done countless scans with all.), and i have yet to remove it. I have done many searches and still have not found any solution. i have also read many of the same topics. i typed a typo in google and accidentally clicked on a link when i noticed it wasn't the site i was looking for. then i closed my browser re-opened it and now everytime i click a link in google i get redirected to some bogus site. I am quite fond of computers and have never had any malware before. (at least not that i have noticed Tongue) please help it is real annoying. I appreciate any help and i have included a HIJACKTHIS log also.

That might not work on your 64 bit version of vista, try it and see but you will probably get a message saying unsupported operating system

Even if it does work, you still need to do this

Download OTScanIt.exe to your Desktop
  • Close any open browsers.
  • If your Real protection or Antivirus intervenes with OTScanIt, allow it to run.
  • Double-click on OTS.exe to start the program.
  • Now  on the toolbar at the top select "Scan all users" then  click the Run Scan button
  • The program will be scanning huge amounts of data so depending on your system it could take a long time to complete. Let it run unhindered until it finishes.
  • When the scan is complete Notepad will open with the report file loaded in it.
  • Save that notepad file
If the log is too large to post, use the Reply button, scroll down to the attachments section and attach the notepad file here.

  • Please download GooredFix and save it to your Desktop.
  • Make sure all instances of Firefox are closed at this point.
  • Double-click Goored.exe to run it.
  • Select Yes to continue.
  • A log will open which you can just close. The log file is named Goored.txt and is on your Desktop.
  • Please attach the Goored.txt log to your next reply
