Hotmail email malware

[robdivall]

My hotmail account has sent out rouge emails to all my contacts as well as deleting all the listed contacts from my address book.  Macafe security centre running and have run virus scans and found nothing.  On IE8 and XP pro.

Hello,

It sounds like someone has stolen you hotmail login and password, if possible from another PC, go and change your password to something very extensive using Upper and Lower case letters and numbers.

See if you continue to have any other issues, in the meantime and if you like...

Install it and run a scan, once the scan completes, click on tools, then click Save Scan Results, name the log anything you like then attach it to your next post, please.

That all looks fine, try the changing of the password and possibly even contact the hotmail support channel to see what else you can to do to prevent unwanted access to your email account.
